Our Mission
The Volunteer Taskforce is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals, families, and animals in need. We provide assistance through food donations, holiday programs, and direct support services, while partnering with local organizations such as schools, soup kitchens, and humane societies. Our mission is to strengthen communities through compassion, service, and volunteerism.
Our Story
Founded in Madison County, Ohio, The Volunteer Taskforce began with a simple mission: neighbors helping neighbors. What started as a small volunteer effort supporting food pantries and holiday programs has grown into a full nonprofit organization hosting community events, school partnerships, and animal support programs. With proven success in Ohio, we are now expanding into Florida to reach even more families and animals in need. At our core, we believe no one should face hardship alone — and we unite volunteers, donors, and community partners to make sure no one does.
How We Help
Community Events & Fundraising – From car shows to National Night Out, our events raise funds and awareness while bringing neighbors together.
Food Assistance – Supporting families and soup kitchens with food drives and holiday programs.
Animal Support – Partnering with humane societies to care for pets and animals in need.
Holiday Programs – Ensuring children and families receive essential support during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other key times.
School & Youth Partnerships – Collaborating with schools to provide resources and programs that directly impact children and local families.

The Volunteer Taskforce is built on local roots and direct community impact. Every donation stays within the community, helping families, children, and animals, while donors see the difference their contributions make through food drives, holiday programs, and school partnerships. Unlike single-focus organizations, we provide multi-faceted support to families, youth, and animals, allowing us to respond quickly to urgent needs. Almost entirely volunteer-run, we maintain low overhead so every dollar goes directly to the mission. Strong partnerships with schools, soup kitchens, food banks, and humane societies amplify our efforts. Led by a local public safety professional, our organization provides a personal and human connection — donors and families know who we are, what we stand for, and the impact we deliver.
